[At first, the loud crack! that comes from outside does not sound entirely unlike thunder; maybe a storm is brewing? But the first is quickly followed by another, and then dozens more. Strange behavior for thunder, but surely it's not completely unheard of?

Then starts the bright flashes of light, every color imaginable whirring about in sparklers and Catherine wheels, and there is absolutely no mistaking this for lightning.

That's right. A large display of fireworks has been set off in the center of the Square, and if the large, glittering W in the sky is any sort of hint, it's easy to understand this feat to be at the hands of a Weasley - specifically, one wolfishly grinning Fred Weasley, who is standing beneath the W with a vast spread of various objects before him.]

Welcome, ladies and gentlefolk, to the City's first ever Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes! Come on down and take a peek at our stock - we've got Trick Wands, Ton-Tongue Toffees, as well as various Skiving Snackboxes; not to mention the ever popular Wonder Witch Products, such as the Love Potions and Ten Second Pimple Removers. It's guaranteed a good laugh! Just follow the W!

[And just as he says the last word, another thunderous boom! lets loose two enormous dragons composed entirely of fireworks. They circle about the ever crackling W before spreading off and exploding into still more firecrackers that whizz off into the distance. Fred grins wildly, tips an invisible hat upon his head, and the feed shuts off.]

[ooc; Fred set the sky on fire! :D Things to know about these fireworks, as they are they are not normal fireworks and have a few enchantments about them!

they do not dissipate quickly and will last for a few hours after this video
as they crash into each other, they will multiply and combine and any other various nonsense imaginable
any attempts to banish or destroy them will only serve to multiply them

That being said, they'll be hanging around for awhile so feel free to have your character watching them from the other side of the City or even being chased there by a rogue sparkler, whatever you please! Just pay mind that no property damage is to take place at any time. These are friendly fireworks, not the sort used to chase away Dolores Umbridge. Replies may be slow, but ither than that, go crazy. ♥]

[Oh Godric's balls, she really wants to just duck out and take her break now but then she'd want to stay the whole time.]

How are they? Any customers? I'd say they're definitely an "O," aren't they always?

[He did. He'd finished them and George wasn't there to celebrate and he got jittery, which always leads to explosions, doesn't it?]

Good answer, little sister. [Wink!] Just a few wary passersby thus far, but there's a definite interest. Or d'you suppose that's just my handsome face drawing them in?

Yeah, yeah, your irresistible good looks and charm. I know how it goes.

[Oh, bugger it all. Perhaps Fred can hear the muffled sound of his sister saying she'll be taking her break now, and she's rushing out the back way of the club so she can watch the fireworks from the street. The proud grin she's wearing is absolutely audible in her voice.]

Fred, they're bloody fantastic. I'm so glad I never set off the last of your boxes, this is brilliant.

[Oh, he hears it. Grinning abound, Ginny.]

You oughta be down here with me, you know. Reckon half the glory's yours as well. Or at least a good fourth of it.

[Still with the smiling, but it might just be that he doesn't feelright selling this alone when he's meant to have a partner, his partner.]

I didn't do anything.

[Genuine modesty. She knows she can try to be like her twin brothers, try to match them in creativity and brilliance, and she can come close. But she can't do what she's seeing now and she's more than happy to let Fred and George have all the glory for what they do best.]

And I'm working right now, Fred. You know I'd love to come down there but I've still got a half hour until I'm off.

[Fred scoffs. Work. Laaame. What's the point if you can't do what you want and enjoy it?]

A half hour's nothing. Skive off and get your arse down here. I'll slip you a Puking Pastille if you feel the need.

You forget I work with friends of mine, I doubt a Puking Pastille would do any good.

[Pause. Thoughtfully, as she watches the display.]

Did you know I crushed those up and slipped them into the Carrows' dinner once?

[Foul play. He can't even be disappointed in her staying at work.]

[What she doesn't say is she got detention for it because who else would use Weasley products? But it was worth it. It was so worth it.]

[She sounds SO PROUD right now, Fred, you can't even imagine how glad she is to hear that sort of praise from you.]

They weren't all too pleased, but it was a great laugh. I reckon the only reason they got it on Snape was because they wanted to save their food. Figures, doesn't it?

[It's well deserved. There's no telling how proud Fred is that Ginny carried on their work in their absence.]

Pillocks, the lot of them. How'd they cure it, then? I don't suppose you gave them the other half.

[Only after they threatened her with their wands, and even then she only gave them the purple chews to save her robes from vomit. That's her story and she's sticking to it. (The Cruciated her anyway, but. Details.)]

I didn't Death Eaters the type to mind their manners.

[He's got clues, hints of what went down at Hogwarts under their control. But he is not even going to let himself think about it.]

Knew you could hold your own against them. Reckon you might be the better suited out of the lot of us.

[For a while, there's nothing but the echoing booms of the fireworks overhead as Ginny leans against the outside wall of the club and watches the sky. She wonders if Fred knows, really knows, about the castle. She didn't tell them much over Christmas, she didn't want to risk her parents forcing her to stay home (though that happened anyway, over Easter).

And then she laughs.]

What makes you say that?

[She's stronger. She's attached, but objectively so, whereas the twins're always rash and Ron's got no sense of self control whatsoever. She's brilliant in all the ways they should be - knows how to bend without breaking. She's stronger.]

Innit obvious? Innocent face like that, they'd let you off of anything. You've got the Weasley Charm in spades.

[Being the youngest means she got the best and worst of the brothers that came before her. She only ever wants to make them proud because she learned it all from them, everything that makes her who she is. Of course she carried on the twins' mischief, it was her duty.]

I reckon even Mum's started to catch on to my innocent face, Fred. I'm just too fast for them to catch, is all. [And then she snorts.] Or is this the same Weasley Charm that makes people want to date us?

[They aren't the best of role models, that much goes without saying. But Fred's damn proud of his sister, and anyone with objects knows precisely what to do with them.]

Just the same. We've all sorts of innate talents. That's what makes us so brilliant.

Of course. It's probably why all the other pureblood families hate us so much. Our Charm can just about attract anyone into wanting to marry us, but no one likes their lot, so they've got to resort to marrying cousins. Makes perfect sense.

[There is a very attractive snort at that.]
