We seem to be sans one four-eyed undesirable and up one horrendous looking gnome. Odd thing for Harry to keep in his room, but I'm hardly one to knock another bloke's fet--
[Lude comment cut short by what sounds like a chair scraping across the floor. Fred's quiet a moment.]
Hang on. Little bigger seems to have found its way to the kitchen. How'd you get down here, you ugly little--?
[Silence again, and then Fred laughs.]
I've taught you lot better pranks than this. 's just pathetic.
[He falls silent once again, but this time, there's only the scrape of his chair again and then nothing for a few minutes before the feed times out.]

[ooc; Harry is gone, but Fred is not! Yet, at least. 8)]

action;
Oi! Fred! Having some trouble?
action; holy mother of html fail, batman!
Really? Still using that desk, Georgie?Fred's too preoccupied observing the gnome closely (but from a distance) to answer right away.]Not quite sure at the mo'. Have you got some sort of charm on this thing?

[He thinks about it.]
- haven't quite figured it out, yet.
voice;
[A joke. Obviously. It's got to be.]
voice;
What what, Gin? You're going to need to be a bit more specific in this situation.
voice;
voice;
What did I do? I didn't--
[He stops, looks back because Merlin, it's gotten closer--]
--I didn't do a thing. I merely went to see about Quidditch practice and he was gone.

[And then he thinks about it for a moment.]
I don't think he's gone home, Ginny. He's just not here.
voice;
[There's nothing to worry about. It's too early to worry and she's being ridiculous if she does. If she let herself read into every empty room and missed phonecall, she'd be a nervous wreck every day.]
He's a grown wizard, Fred, he can do what he wants without your permission.
voice;
voice;
[This as she reaches for her phone and tries to call him, anyway.]
You're the one who felt like announcing an empty room to the whole network. Watch him come waltzing through the front door in the next five minutes—I hope you feel ridiculous.

voice;
[She didn't even notice that in the initial entry
because she was so focused on Harry.]From... our garden? Because you know that lot likes us for the most part. If it's stalking you, I reckon it's because you throw them the farthest.
voice;
[Ego inflation, get!]
But this isn't like the sort back home. It's a bit...less sack-of-potatoes and more offset-Santa-impersonation.
voice;
[Pause.]
Maybe Harry got one as an early Christmas gift?
no subject
Are you sure he isn't the gnome?
no subject
Now there's something I hadn't considered. Think that's the fetish after all?
no subject
I really hope not, but he was turned into a doll that one time...

Though he was able to talk when he was a doll. It's not talking, is it?

[She might hear a small plink! as Fred flicks the gnome in the forehead. Silence for a beat, then he starts laughing--
and then back to silence.]

Fred?
[ ... ]
Fred, this isn't funny. Fred? Fred, answer me--
